God does nothing except in response to believing prayer. John Wesley
During times of struggle, sadness and uncertainty, it’s easy to start thinking that God has forgotten you or doesn’t love you or that you’ve done something wrong.
All that is a lie from the enemy to derail you from being focused on prayer, Bible study and the blessings you do have-right in front of you.
I know that during times like this it can be hard for some of us to believe in the promises; sadly, our faith shrinks in times if distress.
But the most important thing you can do is not shrink back from God. The most important thing. Period.
God knows your heart and wants to hear from you. Don’t go silent on God.
Make the time for prayer & meditation. Jesus did it often and He is the son of God. Go into your prayer closet and just cry out to Him. Express yourself. Then wait for God to whisper to you. Be patient because He WILL speak when we make time to listen.
May you walk in your season of pruning with grace, patience and joy in your heart because after pruning comes victory!
“…Every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit”. John 15:2
